The Traxxas Revo VXL 4WD is an all new remote controlled monster truck. This monster truck has new capabilities that are not common with other remote controlled cars. The Revo is equipped with a TQ 2.4 GHz radio system which is compatible with 6519 receiver and rejects Docking Base accessory making it highly reliable.
Traxxas, which is the parent company, recommends that this monster truck should be used by children or people above the age of 13 years as it contains small parts that may pose a health hazard to small children.
Features of the Traxxas Revo VXL 4WD
The Traxxas Revo uses Traxxas Velineon 380 brushless motor which is equipped with Neodymium magnets, high RPM ball bearings, sintered motor and 3.5 mm gold plated bullet connectors for maximum performance
The base framework of this monster truck is made up of nylon composite which is 2 mm thick to guarantee the best support of the whole truck body.
Spur Gear and Drive
The truck is a four wheel drive and uses a spur gear of 45 teeth. It also has a pinion gear that has 28 teeth and 48 pitches, additionally; an extra pinion gear is included and is used when the speeds reach more than 50 mph (works with an extra battery).
The Revo VXL 4WD uses one Traxxas power cell 1200mAh 6 cells NiMh high current connector, a dual NiMh battery capability. N extra battery and a series are also included, but are purchased separately. The extra battery is used in special cases as the one highlighted above.
The battery is charged using an 110V wall type battery charger.
The body of the truck is painted and trimmed with applied decals. The shocks are GTR oil filled to ensure maximum shock absorption. Revo spec rocker suspensions are well connected with the telescoping universal joint shafts.

The monster truck uses the largest brushless motor in its category, while the slash 4×4 VxL uses the standard brushless motor. This means that this monster truck produces more torque power as compared to its counterpart.
The other highly visible difference between the two is the color system. Slash 4×4 VxL is available in several colors and you have a wider scope of choice of color, however with the monster truck that is not the case. This is because it is available in a few random colors.
